West Pitt Farm is perfectly positioned for walking holidays exploring the glorious coasts and countryside of Devon and Somerset and the moorland of Dartmoor and Exmoor; yet readily accessible from rail and road routes to the South West.  The Grand Western Canal Country Park is close by with 11 miles of countryside walks.

Nearby are horse riding, golf, walking, cycling and within a 30 minute drive is Exeter and Taunton where there are cinemas, museums and racecourses.

With a dozen pubs and restaurants in the local villages there is a wide variety places to eat out.  For those who prefer to cook for themselves there are farm shops close by offering fresh local produce, or deliveries can be arranged.  In our local town of Tiverton there is a regular Pannier Market as well as a full range of shops, including larger supermarkets.  Taunton and Exeter are both within 30 minutes’ drive and offer cinemas, museums and racecourses and all the facilities of larger towns.  In our local town of Tiverton there is a Tesco (including delivery to West Pitt), Morrison and M&S Food.
