All cottages have oil fired central heating and are furnished and equipped to a high standard throughout and offer very comfortable accommodation. They are Visit Britain graded 3, 4 and 5 Star.
To make a reservation We ask guests to check availability by telephone and then send a completed booking form accompanied by a deposit cheque for one third of the cottage tariff within seven days. Alternatively, the deposit may be paid over the telephone by credit card. The balance together with a returnable security deposit of £100 for The Farmhouse, Lake View Cottage and Willow Tree; £75 for a Stable Lodge and The Hayloft is due 30 days prior to the start date of the holiday payable by cheque or credit card. (The security deposit is refundable following your stay providing the cottage is vacated in a clean and tidy condition and without any damage or breakages. A charge will be made should additional carpet cleaning be necessary.)
Cheques should be made payable to West Pitt Farm Holidays.
Cancellation If, after making a reservation, the guest subsequently cancels a booking for any reason, the full amount of the tariff remains due. Guests are recommended to arrange their own holiday insurance to cover this possibility. We will make every effort to relet the cottage and if successful will refund the amount we receive less a £25 administration charge.
Pets Please check when making your reservation as to acceptability. A charge of £25 per week will be made for one dog. Out of respect for our other holiday makers, please note some common sense requests; to ensure pets are not allowed on the furniture or beds, that they are not left alone in the accommodation for long periods and that you always clear up after your dog. Please remove pet hairs from carpets before you leave.
Smoking All the cottages at West Pitt are non-smoking.
Linen Full bed linen and duvets are provided. Bath, hand towels in the bathrooms and tea towels for the kitchen are also provided.
Arrival and departure times Our start days are Fridays. Short Break holidays may start on any day of the week depending on availability.
Arrival time is after 4pm and before 10pm on the start day of your holiday.
We do ask that you vacate your cottage by 10am on the day of your departure.
Cleaning We request that you leave the cottage clean and tidy before departing and advise us of any breakages or damage.
Electricity Is included in the tariff for The Farmhouse and Willow Tree; for the other cottages payment is by meter - £1 coins.
Water Our own well provides fresh spring water to all the cottages.
Fishing On all the lakes at West Pitt is included in your tariff. No night fishing. Storage room available for fishing equipment, together with a bait fridge. |
